Winnie the Pooh - Group Rainbow, Winnie the Pooh Wall Poster One of the cutest teddy bears is Winnie the Pooh. Pooh was thought up by A. A. Miline who wrote several books and poems on this endearing bear character in 1926 through 1928.
Walt Disney made Winnie the Pooh famous through its cartoons about Pooh and the other characters that go with him like Christopher Robin, Tigger, Rabbit, Owl, Piglet, Eeyore, Kanga, Roo and others.
Winnie the Pooh is known worldwide and is translated into many languages. The author named the Pooh Bear after his son's teddy bear and his son Christopher Robin Milne became the Christopher in the story. The other characters in Winnie the Pooh also came form his son's toys except for Owl and Rabbit who probably were real animals. The sons toy bear is displayed at the Donnell Library Center Central Children's Room in New York.
The sons bear got its name from a real bear living in the London zoo. This bear was named Winniepeg and was known for it gentle and playful ways.
The Hundred Acre Wood is based on the author's real home that was surrounded by woods.

Strawberry Shortcake is a doll or character that smells like strawberries and is made by American Greetings. This doll comes with a line of friends and pets that can be bought to add to the doll collection.
Muriel Fahrion worked as a card illustrator for American Greeting and made up the character for their greeting cards during the 1970's. The Strawberry Shortcake greeting cards became really popular so American Greeting's responded by commissioning more characters to add, and the friends and pets of Strawberry Shortcake came into being. One favorite character is Strawberry Shortcake's pet cat named Custard. Other designers also became involved in making up characters to go with Strawberry Shortcake for the Company.
Finally Strawberry Shortcake jumped from greeting cards to an actual toy. The first Strawberry Shortcake toy was a rag doll with hair scented like strawberries and strawberry print and theme clothing. Other dolls were made with fruit or dessert themes and all these characters live with Strawberry Shortcake in a magical pretend world called Strawberryland.

A fantasy Story:
One day my daughter came in the house and announced that someone gave her a new doll. I went to see and it was a Strawberry Shortcake doll. Asking her who gave it to her she said that the boy across the street gave it to her. Since my daughter is just eight years old I was really interested in finding out the details.
Fearful that the boy might be trouble I had my daughter go with me to his house. Upon arriving I was relieved when the mother came out and told me that her daughter had received two of the same dolls for her birthday and had asked the son who was around 10 to see if the little girl across the street would want the extra one. We told the lady and her kid's thank you and headed home with the new dolly.

I am writing to you in behalf of your Heavenly Father. He is seeking you like a lost sheep. You remember the Bible story? It is about a shepherd who has 100 sheep. But when he brings the sheep home one night, one is missing. He then leaves the 99 sheep and goes out into the wilderness until he finds that lost sheep.
In this parable the shepherd goes out to search for the one lost sheep-the very least that can be numbered. So if there had been but one lost soul, Christ would have died for that one. To read more click Lost Sheep
