I Love Lucy is a sitcom starring Lucille Ball, Desi Arnaz, Vivian Vance and William Frawley.
The show ran from 1951 to 1960 and at first was called the "I Love Lucy" show and then progressed to Lucille Ball-Desi Arnaz
Show and The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour.
The "I Love Lucy" show was the most watched program in four of its six seasons and is still watched today all over the world. The show has won five Emmy Awards and many nominations. It ranked second on the TV Guides top 50 greatest shows and listed in the 2007 Time magazines "100 Best TV Shows of All Time." |
I Love Lucy is set in New York and centers on Lucy Ricardo (Lucille Ball), and her (real) husband Ricky Ricardo (Desi Arnaz). To spice up the show they have two friends Fred Mertz (William Frawley) and Ethel Mertz (Vivian Vance) who are their landlords. Lucy becomes pregnant in real life and it is written in the show. Little Ricky, their son grows up on the show.

Dear I Love Lucy Fans,I am writing to you in behalf of your Heavenly Father. He is seeking you like a lost sheep. You remember the Bible story? It is about a shepherd who has 100 sheep. But when he brings the sheep home one night, one is missing. He then leaves the 99 sheep and goes out into the wilderness until he finds that lost sheep.
